Tennessee Walking Horse Coach & Clinician - Kim Pringle DEqSc specializes in coaching gaited horse riders! Kim focuses on SMOOTH, SENSIBLE & SAFE & uses the principles of Dressage,  Reining & Natural Horsemanship for training both riders & horses.  Gaits are developed through education, conditioning and knowledge, NOT gimmicks, shank bits or shoes.  Don't get frustrated - get help.

Kim has been working with gaited horses for over 20 yrs.  She grew up in AB with a love for horses that started early!  In the early 1990's while living in Fort St. James BC she discovered the TENNESSEE WALKING HORSE and the rest was history!  Kim was hooked.  In order to learn all she could Kim traveled to Oregon USA and spent 6 weeks learning from 12 time World Champion Diane Gueck.   

In 2000 Kim made two trips across Canada and moved herself & her 6 horses to her grandfathers farm in Arden On.  Kim brought with her  2 x Western Canadian TWHBEA Champion Trackin' On Heir and her Royal Cross foundation mares.

 Kim's foundation mare - Merry Clemontina. This mare is know in the walking horse industry as a Royal Cross.  She was sired by Shaker Shocker out of a Direct Daughter of Merry Go Boy.  She is one of the last true 'Royal Crosses' still alive.

In 2000 Kim went back to school at the University of Guelph and completed a 2 yr Diploma in Equine Management. (DEqSc)
Upon completion of university - Kim moved to Lewisburg Tennessee to work with and learn from World Versatile TWH trainer Lonnie Kuehn.  The experience was amazing. 



Kim now lives full time on her family's farm in Arden, On (1 hr north of Kingston)
She continues to coach and promote the TWH & gaited horsemanship throughout Canada.

Kim's Qualification:
  • 20 yrs Working, Training & Breeding Tennessee Walking Horses in AB, BC & now Ontario.
  • 6 weeks training with TWHBEA World Champion Diane Gueck, OR USA
  • 6 Months Training & Showing TWH's in Middle Tennessee with Lonnie Kuehn
  • DEqSc University of Guelph - Equine Management
  • TWHBEA Certified Instructor
  • National Coaching Certification - Level 1
  • Parelli Official Level 2 graduate

    Kim Continues to learn and develop her own horsemanship in order to better Coach her students and promote GAITED HORSEMANSHIP.

Barefoot Performance Trimming
Kim has been a student and supporter of Performance Barefoot trimming for 4 years.

Cross Training
 
In 2011 Kim joined the Ontario Competitive Trail Riding Association and completed four 15 miles rides.  This is an amazing sport and a great way to  condition your gaited horses.  TWH are extremely competitive in this sport in the USA.  In July Kim Purchased Topaz's Champagne Elevation (Evie) as a Competitive Trail Ride/Endurance prospect.  





Western Dressage
